      Job Title: Mechanical Designer

      Job Description

      The Designer is responsible for creating detailed production drawings for machined assembly parts. This role requires close collaboration with production staff, management, and customers to ensure designs are accurate and meet customer specifications. Additionally, the position involves handling change requests from both engineering and design standpoints.

      Responsibilities

      • Create detailed production drawings for machined assembly parts.
      • Collaborate with production staff, management, and customers to ensure design accuracy.
      • Manage and implement engineering change requests and design change requests.
      • Ensure all designs meet customer specifications.

      Essential Skills

      • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
      • Experience with mechanical drafting and assembly diagrams.
      • Hands-on experience with engineering change orders (ECR/DCR).

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience in assembly, production, or manufacturing environments.
      • Tooling and fixture design experience.

      Work Environment

      The position is primarily office-based with occasional meetings on the production floor. This role offers a great opportunity for professional growth, allowing the individual to take a direct role and potentially advance into an overarching engineering role with more lead responsibilities.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
