      THE POSITION

      Keyera is currently seeking two (2) Engineers-In-Training (EITs) for our 2025 EIT Program. These exciting and dynamic roles encompass facility work, projects and construction. The initial assignments will be in Calgary in the Liquids Infrastructure (LI) Project as well as the Major Project Execution teams. Keyera’s EIT Program will include moves to other teams to allow the successful candidate to further explore other functional groups such as Technical Services (Asset Integrity, Discipline Engineering, Asset Management & Reliability, Measurement & Analytics as well as Quality Assurance), Operations Engineering (Gathering & Processing and Liquids Infrastructure) for continued growth and development.

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Working within the respective project teams, you will learn to apply Keyera’s Project Delivery System in a fit for purpose manner to develop, plan and execute value adding projects
      • With the support of a mentor, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as Business Development, Operations, Regulatory, Land, Project Assurance & Support, Technical Services, Construction, Supply Chain Management, regulators, partners and service providers to advance projects
      • Prepare, review and present various reports & presentations related to: project status & forecasts, project gate reviews, executive & leadership updates, approval requests, decision records, project change requests as well as commercial & technical evaluations
      • During your EIT development there is an expectation for at least one assignment to a field location (subject to asset needs and EIT development path)

      QUALIFICATIONS

      • Provide proof of registration with APEGA with membership in good standing
      • You are passionate about working as part of a team to solve problems and implement innovative, cost effective, and high-quality solutions
      • You combine the theoretical with the hands on in this role. You are a courageous safety leader who works to ensure your work, your team’s work and the facilities are safe, but you also recognize that safety goes beyond the facility and into your home
      • You are open to immersing yourself in all areas of Project Engineering & Management. You know that a multi-disciplined group is part of the success in this role
      • You have the ability to listen, learn and observe – getting to know the people, processes, and facilities is the best way to start a new role
      • You are comfortable with technical writing, presentation skills and knowledge transfer to various stakeholders
      • Valid driver’s license
