- Perform multiple aspects of mechanical engineering services on projects of varying scopes.
- Execute all stages of mechanical design services, including conceptual studies, programming, and schematic documents.
- Develop design development documents and construction documents under supervision.
- Engage in mechanical engineering services during the bidding process, including preparing addenda and amendments.
- Conduct mechanical engineering services during the construction phase, including field visits and answering RFIs.
- Review shop drawings, prepare record drawings, and elect and lay out mechanical systems.
- Prepare accurate, complete, and code-compliant drawings and specifications for various project stages.
- Review and coordinate drawings produced by CADD technicians assigned to the project.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and perform QA/QC review on assigned projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering and mechanical design.
- 3-5 years of engineering experience.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Knowledge of Revit is a plus.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Sprinkler systems design experience is a plus.
- US citizenship as required by client contracts.

The ideal candidate must possess or be eligible to obtain an Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate and have a strong understanding of building systems and building codes. This is an in-office position requiring presence 5 days a week, with 8-hour days starting between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $48.08/hr.
