      At Jacobs our Mechanical Engineers lead a range of skills as part of an integrated building services design. The mechanical team at Jacobs is consistently tasked with the most interesting and complicated design challenges to help the Federal Government fulfill their mission.

      This role may be performed remotely.

      The Mechanical Engineer will assist with design-build & design-bid-build project pursuits, quality reviews, team technical development and project staffing. You will take assist in completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the Federal projects working in conjunction with a technical team.

      • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
      • At least 3 years relevant professional experience for buildings-related design projects
      • Engineer In Training (EIT)
      • Proficiency in Revit, 3D CADD
      • Proficiency designing with UFCs, UFGS and other Federal delivery requirements
      • United States Citizenship
      • Sophisticated verbal & written communications skills tailored to audience based on situation.
      • Navigate associated codes and standards (UFC, IMC, ASHRAE 90.1, Energy code, Life safety codes, and owner’s requirements)

      Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

      • Federal including DoD, Federal Civilian and/or Defense Contractor project experience
