- Experience with software testing
- Knowledge of ANSYS or similar Finite Element software
- Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam with plans for PE certification
Job Description
Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to support our Nuclear Business Unit in either San Jose, CA, or Centennial, CO. SIA is a leader in the power industry, providing engineering services worldwide to electric utilities.
The engineer will join the Fatigue Management group, which specializes in managing metal fatigue in power plant components and systems. Responsibilities include supporting various projects, performing fatigue and stress analyses, software design, development, testing, and analyzing power plant operations. The role involves participation in project team meetings with internal teams and clients, with some travel expected.
This position offers an opportunity for a new engineer to apply fundamental engineering knowledge in real-world projects and provides pathways for career growth within the company.

Compensation
The expected salary range in San Jose, CA, is $75,760 to $113,640 annually, commensurate with experience.
