- Develop 3D and 2D mechanical designs and drawings for ground support equipment systems.
- Create prototype and production-level designs.
- Generate manufacturing and assembly drawings.
- Manage configuration processes.
- Associate degree in Drafting, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in NX CAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting - MUST HAVE
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM system. - MUST HAVE
- Experience in designing mechanical parts and large assemblies. - MUST HAVE
- Strong communication and writing documentation skills
- BSc/MSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with engineering project management software such as JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile tools.
- Experience in project management.
- Proficiency in mechanical stack-up analysis.
- Structural load analysis expertise.
- Experience with rapid prototyping.
- Knowledge of production tooling and fixturing.

Job Description
We are seeking an outstanding mechanical engineer drafter with exceptional technical skills and a proven ability to complete tasks efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for developing 3D and 2D mechanical designs and drawings for ground support equipment systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering suitable for both prototype and production-level designs and will be adept in manufacturing and assembly drawings as well as configuration management.

Work Environment
This position is onsite in Redmond with opportunity to work from home 1-2 days a week. Core hours are 9am-3pm PST.
