- 0-2 years of Engineering experience
- Active SECRET or higher clearance
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Understanding of EB policies and procedures
- Experience in Engineering, Quality, Planning, Material Management, and Procurement
- Detail oriented exhibiting excellent organizational and communication ability with a strong work ethic.
Overview
Engineering lead and support of Supplier Liability Integration Management across all Programs working within Waterfront Mechanical Design and Engineering.
The successful candidate will be responsible for integration and liability management within the Material Procurement and Quality Organizations. The individual is responsible to provide engineering leadership and demonstrated efficiency and performance during the resolution of material procurement problems from problem identification through problem resolution. This work includes identification and coordination of lead and key problem resolution stakeholders, problem risk evaluation and risk management, material impact bounding, corrective action accountability and communication across stakeholders and programs, obsolescence, and improving rejected material volume.
This organization interfaces with various disciplines within and outside of Electric Boat, including component and commodity vendors, ship and module certification teams, purchasing, supplier quality, quality, engineering, SOSG and NAVSEA. A strong professional relationship will be required with all customers and stakeholders.
