  Job Description

  This role involves supporting mechanical and equipment engineering deliverables on build projects. You will oversee technical issues between project teams and various groups such as engineering service providers and construction teams. Ensuring compliance with mechanical and equipment engineering standards, policies, and procedures is crucial. Additionally, you will contribute to safety and engineering recommendations to enhance performance, cost efficiency, and schedule, supporting multiple capital projects simultaneously.

  Responsibilities

  • Support mechanical and equipment engineering deliverables on build projects.
  • Oversee technical issues between project teams and other groups, including engineering service providers and construction.
  • Ensure compliance with mechanical and equipment engineering standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to safety and engineering recommendations to enhance performance, cost efficiency, and schedule.
  • Support multiple capital projects concurrently.

  Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in mechanical, design, and mechanical engineering.
  • Expertise as a mechanical SME.
  • Experience with CAPEX and engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of seven years of related work experience.
  • Prior work experience with petrochemical process or power generation facilities.
  • Experience with complex and multi-disciplinary engineering projects.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Professional Engineering License is preferable.
  • Experience with Process Industry Practices (PIP).
  • Familiarity with API Codes/Standards.
  • Experience developing specifications, datasheets, and bid packages for equipment.
  • Experience with rotating equipment under pressure.
  • Experience with static and heat transfer equipment.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with virtual teams.

  Work Environment

  The role requires the ability to work in a remote environment with virtual teams. This position may involve collaboration with engineering service providers and construction groups, requiring effective communication and technical oversight.

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
