      Roles and Responsibilities:

      • This position will be in support of multiple mechanical analysis projects supporting our customers.
      • The engineer will provide technical solutions and lead the design, integration, and installation of sustainment projects.
      • The engineer will perform finite element analysis of mechanical and structural components and systems, to include dynamic analysis.
      • Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter.
      • Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
      • Performs work which involves conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
      • Provides technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
      • Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations.

        Qualifications and Education Requirements:

      • This position requires a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) with minimum of engineering experience of 3 years or a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) with a minimum of 4 years of experience

        Preferred Skills:

      • The candidate must have good oral and written communication skills
      • Aerospace or military experience are definite pluses.
      • The ideal candidate will have experience with ANSYS or similar finite element program, and SolidWorks.
      • Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred
