- Create technical graphical communication of concepts, ideas, and solutions.
- Prioritize safety in personal work practices and design processes.
- 5-7+ years of progressive and comprehensive design experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (mechanical engineering or related).
- Experience in mechanical design and fluency in SolidWorks.
- Strong background in leveraging user interface principles, materials, inputs, and physics.
- Proven track record of project leadership and creative thinking.
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
- Proficiency in metal, plastic, or composite part design, including material selection.
- Expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), statistical tolerance analysis, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to communicate technical concepts graphically.
- Commitment to safety in design and personal work practices.
- Experience with Windchill or other PLM/PDM systems is a plus.
- High level of curiosity for technology and products from a design perspective.
- Strong open and collaborative communication skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating design thinking, hands-on expertise, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our R&D/product development engineering team. Candidates with SolidWorks skills and experience in PLM/PDM systems such as Windchill are preferred. This position offers the opportunity to work with a global leader in power transmission belts and fluid power products, providing a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $55.00/hr.
