      Required:
      Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the technical, operational, managerial and financial aspects of building design, operations and maintenance as related to commercial, industrial, semiconductor & data center facilities. Professional Engineering license preferred. Expertise shall include building systems operation, maintenance, project execution, energy conservation and budget planning.

      Job Description:
      The selected candidate will assist the team in the design of mechanical sys-tems as well as provide onsite technical support for system events, building shutdowns and daily operations for the US portfolio. Position requires working onsite at office location(s) 5 days a week. Candidate will be required to travel to support strategic IBM properties within the US portfolio.

      Responsibilities :
      o Responsible for the engineering of mechanical systems including HVAC, steam and condensate, compressed air, chilled water, fire protection, etc.
      o Supervise the development of mechanical plans and specifications
      o Review/provide input to construction estimates to support projects and budgetary planning.
      o Support systems operation, equipment replacement, commissioning, growth strategies, monitoring of loads and capacity, investment planning, disaster plan and growth strategy
      o Develop technical concepts to meet client needs
      o Conduct feasibility studies
      o Provide technical support to system managers, project managers, program managers and clients
      o Maintain knowledge of current standards, codes, legislation and ensure implementation.
      o Utilize newest technology to optimize cost and reliability.
      o Utilize AI and smart technology to improve reliability.
      o Optimize the operation of systems for reliability and efficiency
      o Identify, direct and implement opportunities for technical improvement, energy savings and other innovations.
      o Technically support the operations of the US Engineering portfolio & impact events.
      o Identify and address the root causes of technical and process problems • Knowledge of the mechanical system operating principles and working closely with other engineering disciplines such as Electrical, Environmental, and Instrumentations and Controls.
      • Excellent knowledge of regulations & building codes
