We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern!

NVIDIA's invention of the GPU 1999 sparked the growth of the desktop gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, deep learning has ignited modern AI — the next era of computing — with our GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, we are increasingly known as “the AI computing company”. We are growing our teams with the smartest engineers in the world. We are looking for you. We are hiring hardworking and creative Mechanical Product Design Students for an internship to help craft and test new mobile products. You will be part of a diverse multi-functional team researching and developing new concepts and materials for our next generation of products. You must demonstrate excellent communication skills and strong academic mechanical engineering background, with interest to develop a career in mobile consumer electronics devices (such as Smartphones and Tablets).

      What you'll be doing:

      • Your responsibilities may be quite diverse in a technical nature and will vary significantly depending on the outstanding needs of the role.

      • Support the design and product development, including, but not limited to architecture definition, internal components, cosmetic parts, etc., and will work closely with the Engineering teams and other multi-functional design teams.

      What we need to see:

      • Pursuing a MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

      • You have a minimum of 5 months experience with CAD software/programming languages (i.e. Solidworks, ProE, Creo, Catia, Unigraphics, etc.) and MATLAB.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

      • You are majoring in Material Science, Robotics, Manufacturing Processes, Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer.

      • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles and techniques.

      • Intermediate knowledge level on Microsoft Office.

      • Academic knowledge: Statistics, Mechanics of Materials.

The hourly rate for our interns is $19 - $93. Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.

You will also be eligible for Intern benefits .
