      Summary: u00A0

      Mechanical Estimator will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious client acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You will assist the Chief Estimator by reviewing plan and spec HVAC projects, compiling accurate cost estimates, and preparing client proposals.u00A0


      Responsibilities:

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Provide back of house and client facing support for the Sales Manager Chief Estimator including but not limited to:u00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Attend Job Walkthroughsu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Review bid requests, plans and specifications, etc. to qualify projects for appropriate actionu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Interact with subcontractors and vendors to verify accuracy of proposalsu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Develop value-engineered alternatives for client's consideration.u00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Maintain bid lists and CRM entries accurately with timely updatesu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emailsu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Field Bid Request phone calls/emails, and query client for project details.u00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interestu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Assist with the preparation of technical proposals and prequalification formsu00A0


      Qualifications: u00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 3 to 5 yearsu2019 experience in the HVAC industryu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Mechanical engineer or Electrical engineering degree preferredu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Technical degree or associates degree in a related field will be consideredu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Individuals with HVAC or electrical contracting sales and associated experience are welcome to applyu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Entry-level candidates will be considered on an individual basisu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Must have excellent communication and presentation skillsu00A0

      u00B7u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0u00A0 Must have working knowledge of all typical computer programs used in this work environment such as MS Office, Vista and/or Windows 7 (MS Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook), Blue Beam software a plus.u00A0

      This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidateu2019s qualifications, skills, and competencies.
