What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform repairs on equipment using the appropriate tools to meet company standards
- Follow work-order directions effectively and perform tasks in a timely manner
- Identify and address the causes of operating errors
- Communicate issues clearly and professionally in both positive and negative situations
- Engage in ongoing education regarding U-Haul equipment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and understanding of automotive/trailer mechanics
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moving items of at least 50 lbs
- Willingness to adhere to safety precautions when working around machinery
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in vehicle repair or maintenance
- Completion of automotive training programs or certifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and quick thinking in challenging situations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of U-Haul equipment and services
