- Handle a variety of tasks including using power tools and running materials up the elevator utilizing a pallet jack.
- Support project teams by commissioning, cleaning the warehouse, and building robotic arms and stations.
- Move, strap, and catalogue materials using pallet jacks.
- Commission towers using hand and air powered tools according to diagrams.
- Follow step-by-step instructions accurately.
- Run wiring for power supply efficiently.
- Perform moderate to heavy installation labor including heavy lifting and material handling.
- Assist with general labor tasks such as construction, loading, packaging, and cleaning.
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs consistently.
- Experience working 8 hours a day on a hard cement floor.
- Good attendance record.
- Strong capability to take direction and execute tasks.
- Openness to working in multiple positions, from inventory to housekeeping.
- Must pass Avik/Amazon Criteria testing.
- Experience in robotics and material handling is advantageous.

Job Description
The Mechanical Installer II position is a more technically advanced role compared to Installer I, seeking candidates with a strong mechanical aptitude. This role requires proficiency with hand and power tools, as well as previous installation experience in machinery or robotics. You will be responsible for the installation of 20 robotic arms, approximately 40 sub-stations, and internal site fencing, primarily working on mezzanine and sub-mezzanine levels.

Work Environment
The work is conducted in Amazon Distribution Centers that are currently under construction. The environment can be messy, loud, and sometimes crowded, requiring a professional and presentable demeanor. Attire includes PPE such as a high visibility vest, glasses, hard hat, gloves, earplugs, and steel toe shoes/boots. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable but avoid loose, baggy clothing.

This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
