- Design material handling equipment, such as conveyor belts and machinery.
- Receive and interpret specific requirements from facilities to design solutions.
- Enhance site capacity, retrofit areas for new equipment, and rearrange existing equipment.
- Determine layouts and develop the scope of work for projects.
- Write RFPs and collaborate with vendors for site selection.
- Engage in engineering design and handoff to execution.
- Travel up to 50% for site visits and assessments.
- Hands-on design experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Project management skills with a strong design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, electrical, manufacturing).
- 5-7 years of experience in manufacturing/industrial designs.
- Experience in equipment or machine design, including electromechanical equipment.
- Experience with automation, material handling, conveyor systems, and material flow.
- Understanding of upstream/downstream changes within systems engineering.

Job Description
Responsible for designing material handling equipment such as conveyor belts and other machinery. You will receive specific requirements from the facility and be tasked with designing solutions, which may include adding capacity, retrofitting areas for new equipment, or rearranging existing equipment within the facility. You will also be responsible for determining site layouts and developing the scope of work for projects. Writing RFPs, collaborating with vendors for site selection, and working on engineering design and project handoff to execution are key components of this role.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
