Work for a growing Northern New Jersey area high-tech manufacturing company
Summary - Mechanical QC Inspector
Responsibilities:
-Performs detailed first article inspections, in-process inspections, and final inspections of precision-machined parts.
-Works with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues.
-Responsible for calibrating measuring tools and inspection equipment.
-Responsible for documenting all quality control/ISO operating procedures in accordance with ISO requirements.
-Provide drafting services as needed
Job Requirements:
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Experience: Minimum 5 years' quality control experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of GD&T required. ISO 9001 experience required.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
-Must have a strong aptitude in mechanical design and engineering.
-Must have a strong working knowledge level of CAD systems.
-Must be very detail oriented.
-Strong math skills.
-Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints.
-Has a strong background with workplace safety, OSHA regulations and quality control techniques.
-Must be able to effectively communicate with employees of varying education levels.
-Have a strong understanding of ISO quality standards and requirements.
-CMM Operations OR vision system inspection experience preferred
-CMM programming or vision system inspection programming a Plus
Salary Range - 25.00 per hour plus
