Job Description
- Req#: 26647
- Carry out preventive maintenance on all plant and equipment as allocated by the factory engineer.
- Record all repairs undertaken in the allocated plant and equipment and any spare parts used.
- Maintain plant equipment and property to the appropriate specifications within budget. This includes annual general maintenance as directed by the factory engineer and company house/s.
- At alternating dates with other technicians, will be expected to maintain the steam boiler daily maintenance program.
- Ensure application of LOTTO procedures on machines.
- National Diploma in mechanical engineering from recognized institution
- 3 years minimum experience preferably in a busy manufacturing environment
- Demonstrate hands on skills with minimum supervision in the following fields of Mechanical Engineering:
- Plant maintenance
- Thermal dynamics, compressed air systems
- Experience in TPM and WCM environments would be an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Team player
- Proactive, innovative and able to initiate action
- Computer literate
