Qualifications
Position Summary:
Under minimal supervision, creates text, drawings and photographs to create Work Instructions/Assembly Instructions to be utilized in our production facilities. Updates or revises existing Work Instructions/Assembly Instructions in accordance with Best Practice, Industry Standards, Rayco Policies & Procedures and Engineering Change Orders (ECO's) or other instructions as required.Essential Functions of the Job:
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of new Work Instructions/Assembly Instructions & SOP as needed.Observe existing process to collect data that can be recorded and translated into written and graphical documents, Work Instructions/Assembly Instructions & SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
Performs technical writing duties and creates instructions for operator and assemblers to safely, accurately and efficiently execute their assigned tasks. Create new illustrations by utilizing CAD, photography or other graphical tools to create exploded views, isometric views or orthographic views needed to provide a visual reference to support and complement written instructions.
Communicate with stakeholders (Corporate Safety, Operations, HR, Engineering and etc.) to establish Work Instructions/Assembly Instructions/SOP.Use camera and/or computer tablet to document machine assemblies, instructions, and parts.
Work cooperatively with Engineering and Document Control to maintain files for all drawings, illustrations, Work Instructions/Assembly Instructions/SOP.
Collaborate with Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to establish and prioritize executable projects.
