Job Description

- Build and implement operational best practices, embedding media expertise into workflow definitions and project timelines
- Develop team processes and confirm process adoption in collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders. Produce training sessions for team members within the company to learn the new processes.
- Lead client onboarding activities across all digital disciplines. Work closely with the Buyers, Accounting and Brand Management teams to successfully onboard a new client for pre-launch and 90 days post-launch.
- Work with Buying Directors to implement a new employee onboarding process that covers any new processes developed by this position is shared.
- Proactively Audit team allocations against actual time spent in time sheets.
- Scorecard the accuracy of financial scoping projections with new clients in year 1.
- Play a lead role in keeping MDS’s accounting timelines being met and invoices to clients on schedule. This includes vendor invoice management for digital buys.
- Manage Site Direct channel’s vendor invoice management into buying platform (Prisma).
- College degree
- 3+ years of relevant experience, demonstrating generation of successful solutions and efficiencies
- Prior experience working in media and digital agencies
- Understanding of digital media channels and ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Yelp)
- Experience with Media Ocean and Prisma is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and planning skills; quantitative, organizational, written/verbal communications skills; ability to work well independently and within a team, with strong follow through
Overview:
The MDS Media Operations Manager will be a resource to support the digital media buying teams at MDS. This role will be integral in the development and training on new processes across client work and financial tasks. This candidate will split their time and focus across digital buying process optimization and media finance tasks such as invoice reconciliation and ingestion. This role is highly collaborative and will work inter-departmentally and across the Moroch family of companies. This role will report to the VP, Managing Digital Director at MDS.
