Media preparation and delivery to varied specs for internal clients + external clients (partners, licensees, agencies, etc.)
Facilitate migration and consolidation of large, complex asset pools in support of the company’s revenue and strategic goals
Edit, conform, and assemble assets to support numerous downstream workflows
Edit short and long format video in a variety of styles to support various use cases
Partner with Sentai/HIDIVE marketing team and brand managers to create compelling asset packages for social platforms, convention screening, and other outlets
Assist in establishing cue points and other transition markers for the entire content library
Assist in digital asset management using company servers; utilize company ID protocols and naming conventions to enable robust asset tracking; archive and de-archive materials to/from long term storage
Work closely with cross functional teams including senior editors, audio engineers, programming operations, marketing, and social teams to produce trailers, promotional materials, and other content
Crosstrain with adjacent teams to gain fluency in other areas of production, media preparation, and programming ops; augment adjacent teams to enhance workflow velocity/value and provide back-up
Undertake such other duties as requested to produce deliverables and meet production and programming timelines
Spot proof work product and partner with QC team to resolve technical and/or content issues
3-5 years of relevant production experience
Degree Requirement
High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree a plus
Software or Technical Skills
Deep knowledge of audio and video formats, codecs, etc.
Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and Avid a plus
Microsoft Word & Excel
Positive and professional demeanor
Exceptional management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a highly kinetic, interconnected team
Ability to maintain a high level of detail and organization while adapting to evolving needs of the business and its operations
Ability to summarize complex, nuanced technical issues to foster understanding by business and other teams outside operations

We are currently seeking a Media Prep & Delivery Technician to join our Sentai Operations team based in our Houston, Texas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
The base compensation range for this position is $ 45,000 to $55,000 commensurate with experience.
