- Work Hours: Monday – Friday, between the hours of 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Associate’s degree with coursework in education or a library-related field, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to this level
- Five years of increasingly responsible library or cataloging experience
- Strong supervisory, analytical, computer, organizational, and oral/written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of methods, processes, principles, practices, procedures, and terminology used in the assigned field
- Valid Indiana driver’s license
- Assist with coordinating personnel, communicating and computerized cataloging functions to meet FWCS media processing needs; help develop, administer and evaluate departmental policies and procedures in accordance with FWCS standards.
- Assist in the development, operation and maintenance of the FWCS automated library management system.
- Oversee and participate in the processing, classification and descriptive cataloging of library media materials for FWCS Media Centers.
- Help with the organization, purchasing, processing and distribution of library media materials.
- Assist in and prepare the annual preliminary budget for the Media Processing department. Work with other FWCS departments to coordinate invoice payments for purchased library materials.
- Coordinate Media Processing communications, information and related library materials between staff, faculty, administrators, schools, outside agencies and the public.
- Support the staff, faculty, administrators and others concerning Media Processing and related library services, materials, systems and activities.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the Media Services Manager to meet the particular needs of the building/unit.

- Strength and Stamina: Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to fifty (50) pounds or more.

PURPOSE
Organize and assist with the operations and activities of the Media Processing department including the purchase, processing, classification, cataloging and distribution of library media materials; assist in the purchase of district library and professional materials as requested; coordinate personnel, communications and computerized cataloging functions to meet FWCS media processing needs.
