      To strengthen our Commercial Affiliate in Breda, Netherlands, we are currently hiring a

      Medical Affairs Manager (m/f/x)

      (fulltime/ permanent)

      The Opportunity

      Responsible for the development and implementation of the Medical Affairs strategy and

      tactics in the designated therapy area. Provides medical expertise and input to the Business team of the designated therapeutic area to ensure targeted development of new products and optimal scientific positioning and promotion of existing products.

      Responsible for developing long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) and Patients 0rganisations, and holder of KOL engagement plan.

      Identifies unmet medical needs and reinforces the patient focus of all medical activities.

      Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

      • Be a part of the local therapeutic area team to develop strategic medical, scientific and relationship management plans that align with business objectives
      • Provide input from medical affairs perspective and contribute to strategic predict plans for the country.
      • Provide input from medical affairs perspective to market access procedures and communications.
      • Provide a high-quality single point of contact for scientific interaction between KOLs / HCP’s and CSL Behring.
      • Respond to requests for scientific and medical information in a comprehensive, timely and customer focused manner.
      • Actively drives Scientific Advisory Board meetings to ensure knowledge transfer, foster KOL relationships, ensure scientific understanding, and build appropriate advocacy.
      • Actively participate in scientific and medical symposia. Assisting with development of CSL Behring sponsored programs.
      • Facilitate consideration of proposals for collaborative/ investigator initiated studies.
      • Facilitate site feasibility assessments
      • Develop KOL engagement plans .
      • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of the designated therapeutic area(s), pipeline, and the competitive landscape.
      • Be considered an expert by internal & external customers.
      • Disseminate knowledge and share information as appropriate (within compliance regulations), including through internal and external presentations.
      • Provide training and education of relevant stakeholders.
      • Be a part of the review process for materials (as required).
      • Provide input into the reimbursement dossier.
      • Provision of information to reimbursement authorities and other relevant external government/regulatory bodies as and when requested to high professional standard.
      • Ensure compliance with the relevant regulations, deontological codes and CSL’s Code of Responsible Business Practice

      Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements

      • Degree in Medicine as Medical Doctor (MD)
      • Prior Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry experience (medical, clinical or specialty products expertise) of at least 7 years.
      • Business fluent in English and Dutch
      • Ability to apply and leverage scientific and medical knowledge is essential
      • Experience in therapy area is desirable
      • Strong negotiation, influencing and leadership skills
      • Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
      • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with external experts
      • Demonstrated business planning ability and strong organizational skills
      • Demonstrated innovative thinking
      • Demonstrated working knowledge of regulations governing information provision/interactions with customers within the pharmaceutical industry. Strong medical governance capabilities.
      • Strong strategic thinking capabilities
      • Ability to work independently & be self-motivating
