- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development
- Able to assess and interpret data reflective of the client’s status
- Provides care outlined in standards, policies and procedures
- Specialized departmental training to provide care to patients within the role
- Successful completion of SMH orientation
- Command of verbal and written English
- Positive interpersonal communication skills
- Good organizational skills
- Operation of clinical equipment
- Demonstration of clinical competence
- Graduate of a two year accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- Medical Assistant
Monday - Friday (8am - 4:30pm)
Coordinates and provides care for a group of patients spanning all age groups and cultures for a designated time frame using therapeutic means, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation and other health care team members while assuming responsibility and accountability for these patients.Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
