- UT Health East Texas has extended its healthcare services to include urgent care facilities. These locations have highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care for various non-life-threatening conditions.
- Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
- Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
- Clinical duties may include rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
- 6 months’ medical clinic experience preferred
- BLS certification within 30 days of hire
- NCT certification
