- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and other aspects of direct patient care.
- Prepare patients for scheduled procedures and assist in assessments.
- Ensure exam rooms are fully stocked with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Support providers during thyroid nodule FNA procedures, ensuring proper sample labeling and documentation.
- Educate patients on medication administration, glucose monitoring devices, and insulin regimens.
- Download data from insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors.
- Obtain and review recent lab results during patient rooming.
- Provide assistance with AMP GIC and MIPS metrics for quality reporting.
- Manage medical record requests and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Collect and handle lab specimens safely while reporting results to patients.
- Administer medications accurately and follow clinic infection control policies.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification (Required)
- Minimum of 6 months of MA experience (Required)
- 1-2 years of experience in a medical setting (Preferred)
- Medical Assistant Certificate or CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Fully paid medical benefits after 90 days of employment.
- 401(k) eligibility after one year of service.
