      Remote Certified Billing and Coding – Medical Assisting - Medical Office Administration Adjunct (ASMOA) Description


      South College is seeking a qualified Remote Certified Billing and Coding Instructor to join our Associate of Science in Medical Office Administration team! This role involves teaching online asynchronous courses (Healthcare Office Management, Records Management, Medical Ethics and Governance, Healthcare Insurance and Medical Coding). These specific Medical Office Administration courses will be fully remote. The ideal candidate will be innovative and utilize diverse instructional methods to effectively engage students with different learning styles.


      Responsibilites

      • Effectively conducting online lectures, laboratory sessions, and/or clinical courses as required.
      • Be available to hold office hours and dedicate time to meet students' needs and questions, ensuring prompt and efficient responses.
      • Assisting in implementing College policies, objectives, and functions in accordance with South College’s philosophy.
      • Capable of providing engaging weekly recorded lectures for students, ensuring that content is accessible and aligned with course objectives.
      • Keeping students informed of their progress by promptly grading assignments, projects, skill assessments, competency evaluations, and other tasks.
      • Facilitating student connections with relevant campus and community resources.
      • Aiding and supporting the program director with student retention and reports.
