What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive and process medical claims from healthcare providers or patients, ensuring proper documentation is included
- Vet claims against program-specific business rules to determine payment eligibility
- Provide customer support through various communication channels including phone, email, and fax
- Identify operational challenges and recommend solutions to management
- Work a structured schedule of 40 hours per week under moderate supervision
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in medical claims processing is required
- Medical Billing Certification is required
- Coding Certification is required
- Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and be HIPAA certified
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Pharmacy Technician experience is preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
