What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first line of contact for new customers, managing order intake and ensuring accuracy in clinical and billing information
- Conduct insurance verification and eligibility checks for services and products
- Build relationships with patients, referral sources, and field management to enhance service quality
- Process new orders and address customer inquiries or concerns in a timely manner
- Maintain quality control throughout patient contact, ensuring compliance with regulations and documentation requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- One to three years of related work experience in a team-oriented environment
- Strong customer service background with experience in the medical field and administrative record management
- Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written
- Knowledge of medical billing practices and insurance reimbursement processes
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly with CPAP or respiratory equipment
- Familiarity with medical terminology and regulatory guidelines
- Proven ability to multi-task with attention to detail
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Experience using proprietary systems for patient intake and management
