      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Assign appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to patient health information documents under general supervision
      - Research and resolve general coding issues, communicating with cross-divisional teams and vendors as necessary
      - Administer physician quality reporting initiative (PQRI) data to report quality measures
      - Generate and distribute general reports for management review on a routine basis
      - Collaborate with cross-divisional teams on diverse processes to achieve shared goals within established timelines

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma required
      - AAPC or AHIMA Certification
      - 1-2 years of related experience in coding and billing
      - Strong computer skills with proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications
      - Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with governmental rules and regulations affecting billing and coding processes
      - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cohesively within a team environment
      - Positive, enthusiastic, and energetic attitude
      - Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management
