Job summary
The Humbleyard Practice is seeking an experienced medical coder/note summariser to work within the coding/administrative support team, based at our Cringleford Surgery. Working hours can be full time (37.5 hours) or part time, with flexible working patterns/days considered, this will be discussed at interview.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be part of a small team, but who have a pivotal role in the surgery. This includes processing all correspondence from hospitals, community services and other healthcare organisations.
Your role will be to code diagnosis procedures and other relevant information to keep patients records up to date, as well as summarise patient records, both past and present.
