Job Description
- Req#: 32606200645
- Perform insurance collections and follow-up with payers (written & verbal)
- Handle denials and appeals from start to resolution
- Analyze and interpret EOBs (electronic & manual)
- Process and track approximately 35 accounts per day
- Work across multiple specialties, with a focus on Profee (professional fee) billing
- Coordinate with a team collecting for 60+ physicians across 5 primary care clinics and 3 urgent care sites
- 2+ years in professional fee collections
- Strong understanding of payer follow-up and appeals handling
- Experience reading and interpreting EOBs
- EMR experience required (Cerner or Soarian preferred)
- Familiarity with PPO, HMO, Medicare, and Medi-Cal
- OB or maternity billing knowledge is a plus
- Reliable and punctual
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- A proactive team player who can work independently
- Comfortable working in an on-site business office environment

Pay: Up to $26/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (flexible start time once ramped up)
