What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Extract, summarize, and analyze large datasets using SAS, SQL, or other similar tools
- Build large data sets to create the analytical foundation of medical cost trends
- Collaborate with mentors to analyze the value of cost-saving programs
- Present clear and concise presentations of detailed analytics and document assumptions
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health, Economics, Mathematics/Actuarial Sciences, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Economics, Healthcare Analytics, Informatics, Underwriting, and/or Actuarial Services in the healthcare payer sector
- Proven analytical ability with strong technical data skills (SAS/SQL, R, Tableau, Excel)
- Ability to work independently and meet business timelines
- Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and challenges
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree in Business, Health, Economics, Mathematics/Actuarial Sciences, or a related area
