  • Job Description

      Req#: 5541

      Minimum Qualifications

      1. Master’s degree from an American Library Association accredited institution or equivalent archival degree
      2. Library/archives experiences, particularly work experience in a health sciences or scientific research library, institutional archive or museum, technology center, or similar environment
      3. Experience in relevant, postgraduate professional societies or work groups
      4. Basic level knowledge of the following areas: information services, information management, instruction and instructional design, leadership and management, evidence-based practice and research, point of care evidence and health information professionalism
      5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
      6. Demonstrated initiative, good judgment, flexibility, and common-sense
      7. Commitment to excellent customer service and quality improvement
      8. Ability to work well in a team-based and self-directed work environment
      9. Willingness to independently accomplish special projects

      Preferred Qualifications

      1. MLA/AHIP membership, similar credential or certificate, or an additional advanced degree in a subject area pertinent to the position
      2. Proficient use with Microsoft Office
      3. Scholarly publications or presentations
      4. Record of professional association participation
