- Review and summarise incoming patient medical records.
- Extract relevant clinical information for coding.
- Enter data accurately into the clinical system.
- Apply appropriate Read/SNOMED codes.
- Ensure confidentiality and data protection compliance.
- Liaise with clinical staff for clarification when needed.
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate patient records.
- Support QOF, audits, and clinical reporting.
- Work to agreed targets and deadlines.
- Contribute to efficient record-keeping and patient care.
- Any other administration duties.

- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C / 4 or above
- NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, Health and Social Care, Pharmacy Services, or equivalent relevant qualification
- An experienced note summariser/administrator, with excellent IT, time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, working in a confidential and discreet manner.
- Ability to multi-task, work efficiently and maintain a high level of attention to detail, when under pressure.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, as well as independently.
- Some flexibility is required as you will sometimes need to work additional or alternative hours to cover for colleagues.
- Primary care experience is desirable but not essential.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C / 4 or above

Job summary
Two Rivers Medical Centre has an opportunity for an administrator to join our busy practice support team and assist in the smooth delivery of excellent patient care. This role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility considered for the right candidate.
