      Medical Office Assistant

      Position Description:

      We are looking for a Medical Office Assistant to join our Team!

      Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center is seeking a Medical Office Assistant to provide support to medical staff at our Richland location. The Medical Office Assistant will take patient medical histories, record vital signs of patients and complete administrative and clinical tasks in the office.

      Specific duties to include, but not limited to:

      a. Greet patients and obtain vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, height, weight & waist circumference)

      b. Provide patient with additional paperwork

      c. Perform medication reconciliation and verify pharmacy with patients

      d. Assist in satisfying MCO's laboratory monitoring requirements

      e. Perform routine blood draws and collect urine specimens (if trained)

      f. Perform electrocardiograms (if trained)

      g. Assist nursing staff in responding to patient phone calls

      h. Assist in paperwork requests and obtaining medical records from other providers.

      Education, Experience, Skills, Training:

      High School Diploma or equivalent.

      The successful applicant should have at least one-year experience working in the Medical Office Assistant field and must be able to maintain strict confidentiality. Must be able to obtain Act 33, Act 34 and FBI clearances.

      This is a full-time position with medical, dental and vision benefits, as well as, paid vacation and paid holidays.
