- Working on reception, checking patients in and out dealing with face to face queries and a large volume of administrative tasks such as:
- Registering new patients/temporary residents
- Opening and actioning post
- Actioning all emails that come through to our Deerness Park Mailbox
- Prescription Requests
- Creating/rescheduling patient appointments
- Working though tasks on our in house system Emis Web
- Liaison between patients and clinicians
- Third party communications
- Creating/rescheduling patient appointments

- Accurate data entry in relation to patient records
- Booking of interpreters, ambulance services
- Dealing with managed referrals to district nurses/wound hub teams etc
- Scanning/coding documents onto patients records

Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our busy, friendly, hard working team for 27 hours worked over 3 days 8am-6pm on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have an excellent telephone manner, a willingness to learn with the ability to work under pressure and provide a high-quality patient service.
