Job summary
We are looking to recruit a full time Medical Receptionist. Monday to Friday between the hours of 08.00am - 18.30pm.
A medical receptionist is the first point of contact that patients and visitors have when they go to a GP practice. They play an important part at the surgery, putting patients care as a priority. Full support is given to all staff and we have an Open Door Policy any time of the day... our Receptionist will play a vital part of a team.
We are a very friendly surgery with a good range of GP's, ANP's, Nurses, HCA's. We are a teaching practice with 2 registrar's, proficient and professional reception and admin team. We offer valuable training in all aspects of reception work.
Previous experience would be beneficial as a receptionist however full training will be given. An understanding of General Practice would be advantageous.

At Strathmore Medical Practice we have 5 Partners, 2 Salary GP's, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 4 Practice Nurses, 2 HCA's and a number of admin and reception staff.
We are the largest GP Practice in Wrexham and strive to provide the best patient care as possible.
Staff at Strathmore enjoy the benefits of our sickness bonus scheme of 0.5% of their annual salary every 1/4. There is free parking and a service from Croner, provided by the GP's, this is for staff and their immediate family who can gain access to a 24 hr confidential helpline service.
