Position Overview:
- Serve as the first contact for Aveanna Medical Solutions, providing excellent customer service
- Manage incoming calls and greet visitors
- Maintain patient files and organize incoming/outgoing mail
- Send out company correspondence and update phone directory
- Manage faxes by entering them into the Brightree system and forwarding information to the correct team
- Create new patient files and match delivery tickets with eligibility forms
- Ensure all patient files are properly maintained with delivery tickets, claims, and paperwork
- Distribute mail and track postage used
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Previous medical office, medical insurance authorization, and/or billing experience preferred
- Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
