      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review, interpret, and code medical record documentation for diagnosis accuracy and compliance with ICD-10 CM coding guidelines
      - Support the collection and distribution of documentation and coding improvement tools for designated practices
      - Engage in program improvement discussions and activities to enhance coding practices
      - Maintain documentation for processes related to the job role
      - Participate in professional training, including travel as needed

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field, or five (5) years of experience in healthcare, medical office management, insurance risk adjustment, medical coding, and/or claims processing
      - Current certification as a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Associate (CCA), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Risk Coder (CRC)
      - Previous experience in medical coding, medical claims review, and/or claims processing
      - Proficiency in ICD-10 CM coding guidelines and knowledge of Medicare and Affordable Care Act regulations
      - Strong oral and written communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience working with Hierarchical Coding Condition (HCC) and Risk Adjustment Factor (RAF)
      - Completion of college-level courses in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and pathophysiology
      - Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
