  MSL for Oncology

  Your Role:

  To collect, analyze and externally and internally communicate accurate and up-to-dated data and medical information including treatment trend, insights and unmet medical needs identified in the field .

  To support developing medical strategies and execute medical initiatives for relevant therapeutic area (TA) in the field.
  

  Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify, profile and engage scientific experts and other healthcare providers (HCPs) in the assigned TA to deliver comprehensive scientific education on disease states, therapeutic options and research advances of strategic importance to the Company
  • Respond to unsolicited questions in a timely way and foster scientific discussion to cultivate collaborative relationships with HCPs as scientific peers and advocates
  • Collect, analyze and internally report scientific insights, expert knowledge and competitive intelligence from the field (scientific experts, HCPs and medical conferences)
  • Identify opportunities for research collaborations, gather research concepts and liaise related communication between investigators and medical affairs to advance and influence the strategic direction
  • Develop and maintain the profiling of scientific experts in assigned TA and engagement records including expert perspectives on data, scientific concepts, treatment landscape and clinical experiences
  • Medical Project/Activity:
  • Execute assigned tactics and support medical initiatives to fulfill Medical Affairs strategies in the field and positively impact HCP perceptions and knowledge regarding Company, Company initiatives and associated products
  • Represents Medical Affairs and the Company at medical educational events, meetings and conference and timely report congress scientific program coverage and share learning from newly released data
  • Support internal medical meeting development and execution (i.e., Advisory Board Meeting)
  • Maintain and demonstrate comprehensive and in-depth TA knowledge when executing assigned tactics
  • Build database and timely report on medico-scientific information including FAQs on current disease state treatment and local clinical trial status of investigational compound
  • Deliver focused and value-added medico-scientific information output including competitor intelligence, publication alerts (regular literature search) and international congress intelligence
  • Create and gain approval of medical contents and presentations for use in scientific engagements with HCPs
  • Administer and monitor appropriate budget expenditures

  Medical collaboration & support

  • Initiate or support medical review for non-promotional/promotional materials
  • Coordinate with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs in providing field support for research studies as a resource, liaison and facilitator
  • Act as a resource and liaison for internally communicating the scientific rationale for investigator-sponsored studies that are aligned to Medical Affairs strategy
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate, as appropriate, with cross-functional colleagues
  • As a scientific resource in an assigned TA for healthcare providers and internal colleagues, provides scientific training to HCPs and internal colleagues
  • Collaborate with Global Patient Safety for an annual report of Adverse Event (AE) management education material dissemination
  • Collaborate with LPSO for patient support program to ensure adequate management of adverse events and potential safety inquiries/issues

  Compliance

  • Ensures compliant use of field material and conduct of activities and acts as a respected and
  • highly regarded representative of the Medical Affairs department and Company

  Who You Are:

  • Bachelor degree in Health Science (Biology, Immune etc.)
  • Previous 1-5 yrs experience in MSL, MI, CRA or a Medical environment desired (Experience in field-based environments is preferred)
  • High level of clinical data understanding and interpretation
  • Expertise in literature identification and evaluation
  • Understanding in pharmaceutical environment and regulation
  • Intellectual curiosity and knowledge about the field of science/medicine
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skill and Priority Setting
  • Learning on the Fly
  • Compliance with all procedural requirements of the role
  • Proficiency in Computer skills and database entry
  • Upper middle level of English proficiency (written and verbal English) is desired
