      Medical Science Liaison (MSL) Gynaecology and Genitourinary Cancers

      Location: field - based, South Belgium

      Introduction to Role:
      Are you ready to work on the ground breaking of science with our rich pipeline? We are seeking a Medical Science Liaison with a focus on Gynaecology and Genitourinary Cancers. In this role, you will be a scientific expert in the field, engaging in high-level scientific exchange, building and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with external authorities, and uncovering unmet medical needs. You will also be part of a cross-functional team in our Oncology Business Unit, contributing to the development and implementation of our medical product strategy.

      Accountabilities:
      Your responsibilities will include working closely with Regulatory, Market Access, and Marketing on field related medical issues, supporting local, regional and global AstraZeneca clinical research programs, and providing medical and scientific input on our sales promotion activities. You will also be tasked with coordinating and completing scientific events for healthcare professionals, maintaining expertise in your therapeutic area through continuous education, and ensuring compliance with all local regulatory requirements.

      Essential Skills/Experience:

      • Previous experience in a pharmaceutical industry (preferably in oncology)
      • University degree in a health-related scientific field, such as MD or PhD
      • High-level of scientific knowledge and ability to analyze and process clinical and scientific data
      • Extensive knowledge of the legal and ethical framework and the procedural guidelines that apply to the promotion and approval of medicinal products in Belgium
      • Proficiency in English and French - a must
      • Driving license, and willingness to drive within whole designated area.

      Desirable Skills/Experience:

      • Experience in collaborating closely with healthcare professionals
      • Launch experience
      • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including communicating complex technical, scientific, or medical information to broad audience types
