- University degree in Medical or Life Science Field (e.g. Medicine, Pharmacy, Biology/ Biochemistry)
- 5 years’ experience with pharma industry locally, regionally or globally
- 3 years’ experience as MSL/Field Medical within pharmaceutical experience
- Demonstrated experience in KOL, HCP or medical community engagement
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Korean; experience with digital communication; good oral and written communication skills in English
- Experience in public scientific presentations
- Ability for field activity including overnight travel, up to 60%
- Medical Education (MD) with relevant clinical experience
- Clinical and/or research experience in Internal Medicine, Nephrology or Cardiology
- Strong track record in KOL engagement
- Experience in clinical research
- Experience in literature review and analysis
- Experience in planning and delivering Medical Trainings
Job Description
Main Accountabilities
1. Represent Medical Affairs externally to establish and maintain medical relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), HCPs and key accounts on behalf of Vifor Pharma Group
2. Execute country medical plans locally by representing the medical expertise in TAs and products and through scientific engagement with the medical community
3. Provide disease state education, medical information and research support
4. Share scientific insights from medical community interactions with local & global medical teams, ensuring capturing of field medical expertise
5. Train colleagues internally, all in accordance with global and local compliance and regulations
6. Closely collaborate with colleagues and partners in the development and implementation of the local brand strategy
Key Measures of Success
1. Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in TAs and products through KOL engagement, presentations, education and training
2. Strong relationships with KOLs, enhancing scientific engagement & insights and strong medical collaboration
3. Quantitative and Qualitative metrics demonstrated and measured, defined by Global Field Medical Excellence in alignment with Head of Medical Affairs
4. Demonstrated support for clinical trial and Investigator Initiated Study (IIS) process support
5. Demonstrated and aligned collaboration with cross-functional stakeholder and partner to meet corporate goals
