Must be enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program majoring in pre-med or a related field

Transcribe a variety of medical reports, including histories, physicals, consultations, progress notes, operative/procedure reports, discharge summaries, and transfer summaries
-
Ensure accurate transcription with less than 5% error rate, maintaining appropriate spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, format, and medical terminology
-
Process dictation in order of assigned priority while safeguarding the confidentiality of records in accordance with departmental policy
-
Gather and accurately record patient and physician identification for each report
-
Maintain an acceptable daily typing volume according to department standards
-
Scribe for physicians during examinations and treatments, documenting information in the electronic health record system

Maintain equipment in safe and proper working condition

Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Do:
Transcribe medical reports dictated by physicians to be included in medical records and communicated to healthcare providers.
