      Job summary

      We are recruiting for a Medical Secretary who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

      As a Medical Secretary you will provide secretarial support to consultants within the Oral Surgery and Orthodontic team, working alongside your peers as part of a team.

      You will provide efficient administrative and secretarial support in all aspects of the department's work as directed by the Service Co-ordinator.

      Main duties of the job

      The Medical Secretary will provide professional and efficient secretarial and administrative support to the Consultant and medical team.

      You will be the first point of contact and communication for General Practitioners, consultant colleagues, nursing staff, administrative and other hospital staff, patients, relatives, and outside agencies.

      Youwill have a sound knowledge and understanding of medical terminology & must apply a high degree of confidentiality to all work.
