      Job summary

      The Rheumatology Department is looking for an experienced secretary to join its busy secretarial team.

      We are looking for someone with an approachable, helpful, flexible attitude who enjoys working as part of a team. You should also have good communication skills, administrative and organisational skills and be able to produce accurate audio typing and respond to ad hoc queries and deadlines effectively.

      Please note, this is a Fixed Term/Secondment until 31st December 2025. Internal candidates will be offered a secondment position only.

      Main duties of the job

      To ensure a high standard of secretarial and administrative service is consistently delivered by undertaking all required tasks and activities on a daily basis

      To utilise the required technology and system(s) that are introduced to deliver an efficient administrative and secretarial service.

      To recommend and support the implementation of service improvements to own and team working practice to improve workflow.

      To support other team members to deliver the required administrative and secretarial service in a quick changing working environment
