      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Receive, process, and validate new and renewed medical staff applications to ensure compliance with regulations and bylaws
      - Maintain a comprehensive credentialing database, ensuring the integrity of provider information
      - Assist with internal credentialing monitoring and participate in audits for compliance
      - Respond to inquiries from healthcare organizations and manage day-to-day credentialing issues
      - Process requests for privileges and develop relationships with various providers and departments

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum Education: Associate's Degree
      - Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year of work experience related to credentialing or provider-related regulatory process management
      - Substitutable Education & Experience: Associate’s Degree with 1 year of work experience, or High School Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience
      - General knowledge of healthcare provider credentialing processes and medical ethics
      - Proficiency in database, spreadsheet, and word processing applications

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with the MD-Staff credentialing database
      - Familiarity with National Practitioner Database reports and the Health Care Quality Improvement Act
      - Strong ability to adapt and apply skills across varied department environments
      - Experience in a healthcare setting with provider licensing and credentialing processes
