Overview
Do you have a passion for helping others? Riverview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant, also referred to as a CNA in our Medical-Surgical Acute unit. The Med-Surg CNA assists Nurses by providing basic patient care, monitoring vital signs, supporting mobility, and ensuring patient safety for adults recovering from surgeries or illnesses. They play a critical role in observing patients, reporting changes, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment to promote recovery.
Shift’s Available: Nights (12hr shifts)

Responsibilities
Riverview Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Med-Surg/Acute team. Under RN supervision, you will assist patients with daily living activities, provide basic nursing care, and help maintain a safe environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Basic patient care: Help patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing,dressing, grooming, toileting, and eating• Vital signs monitoring: Take and record blood pressure, heart rate, temperature,respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation• Mobility assistance: Help patients get in and out of bed, walk, or use assistive devices.• Observation: Monitor patients for any physical changes (shortness of breath, chest pain,altered mental status) and quickly notifying the nursing staff
Qualifications
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire, required• Current BLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current• Possess knowledge of Medical Terminology• Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred
