Medical Technologist – Night Shift

Perform accurate and timely clinical lab testing across multiple disciplines
Analyze and report proficiency testing samples within regulatory timelines
Conduct stat testing and ensure turnaround times are met
Interpret patient results using independent judgment and critical thinking
Perform and review quality control, calibration, and standardization procedures
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
Resolve pending test logs and outstanding workload issues
Perform corrective actions when test results fall outside acceptable parameters
Support the department in the absence of the supervisor or lead
Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field required
Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology preferred
State of Florida Medical Technologist License required
Generalist license preferred, but applicants licensed in 3 or more of the following areas may be considered:
Blood Bank
Serology
Chemistry
Hematology
Microbiology
Recent Blood Bank experience is required
At least 1 year of clinical lab experience preferred (new grads encouraged to apply)
Must have Medical Technologist experience in the United States

Medical Technologist – Night Shift (St. Petersburg, FL)
Location: St. Petersburg, Florida
Schedule: Full-Time, 3rd Shift (11:30 PM – 7:00 AM, rotating weekends)
Salary Range: $27.09 – $32.51+ per hour
Night Shift Differential: $4.00/hour

Position Overview
We are currently hiring a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to join our team for the night shift in St. Petersburg, Florida. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Florida Medical Technologist License (Generalist preferred) and possess recent experience in blood bank operations. You will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and critical laboratory results that support patient care and clinical decision-making.
