      JOB DESCRIPTION:

      Independently operates complex analyzers and performs highly complex manual procedures to provide laboratory services in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Microbiology, Serology, and performs venipuncture and arterial puncture to meet the needs of customers performed in accordance with CLIA and state guidelines. Performs accurate clinical laboratory tests and procedures on patient specimens to aid in diagnosis and treatment, performs proficiency testing, quality control, instrument maintenance and validation, supply inventory maintenance, and other functions.


      QUALIFICATIONS:

      Preferred Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or related science and certification through nationally recognized agency such as AMT or ASCP

      Experience - 1 year of pertinent clinical laboratory experience as a medical technologist preferred

      License/Certification - National Certification as a Medical Technologist - CPR Certification
